About me

I’m Evgeniy Antoshkin, a product and growth leader. I build and improve products, especially when it isn’t yet clear what the real problem is.

I started my career in telecommunications, moving from a customer-facing role to coordinating work across more than 80 people in different regions and countries. In 2012, I left that path and moved to Brazil without speaking Portuguese or knowing exactly what I would do next. Since then, I’ve lived and worked across the US, Latin America, and Europe.

At a ride-hailing company, I investigated a passenger-retention problem through user conversations and data and traced part of it to driver retention. A colleague and I then paid for a simple driver portal prototype ourselves and tested it with 100 drivers. Within a year, every driver at the company was using it.

Later, I built Sportimity, a New York City sports community that grew to 15,000 users, advised startups in several countries, and worked across product and marketing in fintech.

In 2022, I started Lezonder to explore whether incentives could help people improve their sleep. The first version was deliberately simple: a Telegram group, a Google spreadsheet, and sleep data entered by hand. Today, I’m building it as a real product while using it to test ideas around behavior, retention, incentives, and product design.

More recently, AI tools have expanded what I can execute independently. I now build apps, websites, automations, analytics systems, and backend tools myself.

I keep coming back to the same kind of work: understanding what people actually do, using user feedback and data to find the problem beneath the obvious one, testing what might improve it, and building systems around what works.
